2-day workshops

2-day workshops - info
Our 2-day workshops begin at 10am on the first day and continue until dusk on the second. You will enjoy a night’s accommodation (sole occupancy) at a local hotel – chosen for both its location and quality. Breakfast (second day only), dinner (first day only), and pack-lunch (both days)are provided.

On the first day, after meeting and briefing, we venture out for the day. We will normally visit 2 or 3 different locations and, weather permitting, shoot until dusk. We then return to the hotel for our evening meal in the restaurant. Dinner is followed by a tutorial or portfolio review, along with a few social drinks and a natter. On the second day, we rise early for a dawn shoot, before returning to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. We then head out with our cameras again for a full day’s photography, visiting a selection of the most photogenic locations in the area. After sunset, we return to the hotel to collect cars and say our goodbyes. Throughout the workshop, Mark and Ross are on hand to offer advice on composition, exposure, filtration and to help in any way possible...

Group size is strictly restricted to 12 photographers, so do book early to avoid disappointment.

Non-participating partners are welcome – please contact us for the cost of accommodation and meals.

Autumnal New Forest - FULLY BOOKED!
Dates - Monday November 4th & Tuesday November 5th 2013

The New Forest, in Hampshire, is Britain's smallest National Park, but its 150 square miles boasts an amazingly varied landscape - different types of woodland, open heathland, rivers, ponds and streams. There is even a stretch of coastline within its boundaries.

It is, of course, famous for its autumn colours and we will be visiting at the best time of year to capture the golden foliage, with the colours usually at their peak in the last week of October and first week of November. If we’re lucky, there may also be some low-lying mist in the valleys, to add atmosphere and a touch of romance.

As well as visiting some of the well-known locations such as Bolderwood, Rhinefield, and Bratley, we will also use our local knowledge to take you to some of the area’s ‘hidden gems’ - places which might otherwise be overlooked. The workshop will also include an evening tutorial and the opportunity to have your pictures reviewed by Mark and Ross.

We will be staying for one night at the Moorhill House Hotel, set in landscaped gardens just outside the picturesque village of Burley, but easily accessed from the A31.

The workshop costs £275.00, with a £75.00 deposit required at the time of booking.
