2-day workshops
2-day workshops - info
Our 2-day workshops begin at 10am on the first day and continue until dusk on the second. You will enjoy a night’s accommodation (sole occupancy) at a local hotel – chosen for both its location and quality. Breakfast (second day only), dinner (first day only), and pack-lunch (both days)are provided.
On the first day, after meeting and briefing, we venture out for the day. We will normally visit 2 or 3 different locations and, weather permitting, shoot until dusk. We then return to the hotel for our evening meal in the restaurant. Dinner is followed by a tutorial or portfolio review, along with a few social drinks and a natter. On the second day, we rise early for a dawn shoot, before returning to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. We then head out with our cameras again for a full day’s photography, visiting a selection of the most photogenic locations in the area. After sunset, we return to the hotel to collect cars and say our goodbyes. Throughout the workshop, Mark and Ross are on hand to offer advice on composition, exposure, filtration and to help in any way possible...
Group size is strictly restricted to 12 photographers, so do book early to avoid disappointment.
Non-participating partners are welcome – please contact us for the cost of accommodation and meals.

West Dorset -FULLY BOOKED!
Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th February 2012

West Dorset is bursting with photogenic locations: the golden cliffs of Burton Bradstock, the fishing village of West Bay, the unique harbour wall of the Cobb at Lyme Regis, Golden Cap (the highest cliff on the south coast), Colmer’s Hill (a striking, conical hill topped with pine trees), Portland Bill lighthouse at Portland, and St Chatherine’s Chapel (perched dramatically at the top of a hill just outside Abbotsbury), to name just a few. February is a great time to visit, with the sun setting and rising over the sea, and great potential for dramatic conditions and wonderful light...
We will be staying at the Eype’s Mouth Hotel near Bridport, well-known for its excellent food, and a superb base for exploring the area. The photography will begin on Thursday morning and continue until dusk on Friday (weather permitting). There will also be a post-processing tutorial and the opportunity to have your images reviewed by Mark and Ross.
The workshop costs £275.00
