3-day workshops

3-day workshops - info
Our 3-day workshops actually begin after lunch on the 1st day and continue to dusk on the 4th day. Therefore, you actually enjoy 3½days photography with Mark and Ross. You will spend 3 nights (sole occupancy) at a local hotel – personally selected for both its location and quality – and breakfast, dinner and pack lunch are provided.

Each day we will rise early for a dawn shoot before returning to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Of course, there is no obligation to join the morning shoot if you are not an early riser – but we strongly recommend you do, as often sunrise provides the best light of the day. After breakfast, we head out for the day. We will normally visit 2 or 3 different locations and often shoot until after sunset. Once the cameras have been packed away for the day, we return to the hotel to freshen-up before enjoying an evening meal in the restaurant. Dinner is followed by a slideshow or portfolio review (please bring your favourite prints and digital files), along with a few social drinks and a natter…

Group size is strictly restricted to 12 photographers, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Non-participating partners are welcome – please contact us for the cost of accommodation and meals.

New: 3-day workshop – west Dorset
Thursday 11th February to Sunday 14th February 2010 - FULLY BOOKED!

There is a huge variety of photographic material in west Dorset, from the rolling hills of the Marshwood Vale, to the golden cliffs of Burton Bradstock and fishing villages such as West Bay. Our itinerary will also include the Cobb at Lyme Regis, made famous as the location of the opening scenes of The French Lieutenant's Woman, as well as local landmarks such as Colmer's Hill, with its distinctive conical shape, topped with a clump of wind-bent pine trees. It all looks its best in the winter light, with the low sun meaning good shots are available throughout the day, with the cliffs glowing at sunset.

We will be staying at the Eype's Mouth Country Hotel near Bridport, a popular hotel just a stone's throw from the sea and with many other great locations within easy reach.

The workshop costs £550.00, with a £100.00 deposit required at the time of booking.
