Evening Light - New workshop

Dawn 2 Dusk Photography is hosting an exhibition at The Castle, Bude, Cornwall – beginning Monday 31st May until Sunday 27th June 2010. The exhibition will showcase some of Mark and Ross’ best images of the South West of England, with a particular focus on Cornwall and the local area. This collection of prints – beautifully presented and signed by the photographer – will be on display in The Willoughby Gallery. All images will be available for purchase.
To coincide with the exhibition, Ross and Mark are leading two evening workshops – on Saturday 19th of June and Sunday 20th June. This is the perfect opportunity to improve your landscape photography and technique, by joining Mark and Ross on location.
The mini-workshops will last approximately 6 hours; allowing plenty of time for individual attention. This is your opportunity to improve your photography alongside two of the UK’s leading photographers. It is tailored for anyone, regardless of your level of experience or skill. Included in the cost is entry to the exhibition; a copy of ‘Digital SLR Photography’ magazine; and a delicious ‘packed supper’, supplied by The Castle Restaurant. Group size is restricted to 12 participants only.
Cost: £65.00
The workshops will follow the same format both days:
4pm: Meet and greet at the Willoughby gallery, The Castle, Bude.
4.30pm: Talk on how to improve your photography, covering exposure, filtration, focusing and composition.
6pm until dusk: Photographing the evening light/sunset. We will shoot photogenic locations, like Compass Point; the breakwater; harbour and Summerleaze beach. Mark and Ross will be on hand at all times to offer personal advice and help - tailored to your level of experience.
Packed supper will include:
Cornish Yarg and Onion Jam Sandwich on homemade Focaccia bread
Homemade Scotch Egg
Home cooked Crisps
Piece of fruit
Piece of Chocolate Brownie
Bottle of water
