2-day workshops
2-day workshops - info
Our 2-day workshops actually begin after lunch on the 1st day and continue to dusk on the 3rd day. Therefore, you actually enjoy 2½days photography with Mark and Ross. You will enjoy 2nights accommodation (sole occupancy) at a local hotel – chosen for both its location and quality – and breakfast, dinner and pack lunch are provided.
Each day we will rise early for a dawn shoot before returning to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Of course, there is no obligation to join the morning shoot if you are not an early riser, but we strongly recommend you do, as often sunrise provides the best light of the day. After breakfast, we head out for the day. We will normally visit 2 or 3 different locations and, weather permitting, shoot until dusk. We then return to the hotel for our evening meal in the restaurant. Dinner is followed by a slideshow or portfolio review (please bring your prints and digital files), along with a few social drinks and a natter…
Group size is strictly restricted to 12 photographers, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Non-participating partners are welcome – please contact us for the cost of accommodation and meals.

Dorset's Jurassic Coastline & The Isle of Purbeck - FULLY BOOKED!
Sunday 26th to Tuesday 28th September 2010
Late September is an ideal time for photography in Purbeck. Without wishing to tempt fate, the weather is often pleasant, and the sun sets over the sea for perfect sunset shots. Not only that, but Purbeck's most famous landmarks are at their best at this time of year, with the setting sun lighting up Durdle Door, and Corfe Castle often shrouded in mist.
Few photographers know Dorset as well as Mark, so as well as receiving expert tuition from your two tutors, you can be sure that you will be in the right locations at the best time of day to make the most of them.
We will be staying at the Purbeck House Hotel in Swanage www.purbeckhousehotel.co.uk with the photography starting on Sunday afternoon and continuing until dusk on Tuesday. There will be an evening slideshow and you will have the opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed by Mark and Ross.
The workshop costs £395.00, with a £100.00 deposit required at the time of booking.

South Devon is one of the most beautiful regions in the South West of England. The South Hams is an area of outstanding natural beauty - home to glorious coastline, photogenic coves and bays, picturesque estuaries, unspoilt countryside and picture postcard villages. Dartmoor National Park is just a short drive away and Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes are its major towns. This is wonderful place to explore with your camera and landscape photographers will quickly fall in love with this area…

Also, with a weekend following the workshop, you will have a couple of days to recover before returning to the hustle bustle of work! There will be an evening slideshow and you will have the opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed by Mark and Ross. We hope you can join us…

Sunday 30th October to Tuesday 1st November 2011
Dartmoor is one of the UK’s last remaining wildernesses. Its rugged, windswept landscape is among the most beautiful and photogenic in Europe. The hotel is situated in the very heart of the moors and is the perfect base for photography. Its huge log fires and large leather armchairs provide the perfect place to relax and chat after a good day’s photography. During the workshop, there will also be a tutorial on using Adobe Lightroom and the opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed.
The workshop costs £395.00, with a £100.00 deposit required at the time of booking.
