Dorset is one of our most popular workshop destinations, and it’s easy to understand why. The county is home to a number of truly iconic locations such as Durdle Door, Kimmeridge Bay, Corfe Castle, Old Harry Rocks and Portland Bill.
March is often a fantastic time to photograph this area, with the sun rising and setting in just the right position to beautifully illuminate the iconic Dorset coastline during the golden hours. Atmospheric conditions are commonplace too at this time of year, and hopefully you might see a mist-shrouded Corfe Castle on one of our dawn shoot.
Few photographers know Dorset as well as Mark Bauer, so as well as receiving expert tuition from your two tutors, you can be sure that you will be in the right locations at the best time of day to make the most of them.
We will be staying at the popular and welcoming Springfield Country Hotel near Wareham, ideally situated for our chosen locations, with the photography starting on Monday afternoon and continuing until dusk on Wednesday. Included in the cost is a 3-course meal (Monday & Tuesday) and a hearty breakfast and packed lunch (Tuesday & Wednesday). There will be a post-processing tutorial and, if time allows, you will have the opportunity to have your images reviewed by Mark and Ross. We hope you can join us…
