With outstanding coastal scenery the Gower Peninsula in South Wales has long been cherished for its natural beauty. It was the first area in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and after visiting it’s easy to see why.
A landscape of dramatic towering cliffs and golden sandy beaches, the Gower Peninsula is without doubt a photographic highlight of the UK coast. During this workshop we will be staying at the Kings Head Inn in the village of Llangennith. Ideally positioned on the Gower itself, our accommodation is only a short drive from the famous Rhossili Beach, a key location we will visit on this workshop. Included in the cost is packed lunch and evening meal on the Monday, and a hearty Welsh breakfast and packed lunch on the Tuesday.
Other locations we will photograph include Bracelet Bay with its iconic lighthouse, Worm’s Head, and the distinctive Three Cliffs Bay.
On this workshop your tutors will be Mark Bauer and Adam Burton. Mark and Adam will ensure that you are guided to the best locations at the right time, and will always be on hand to offer tuition to help you get the best out of your visit to the Glamorgan coast. The workshop will also include an evening tutorial and – if time allows – the opportunity to have your pictures expertly critiqued by Mark and Adam.
Group size is strictly restricted to 10 people, so a large amount of individual attention is guaranteed.
