West Cornwall – or Penwith as it is also known – is one of the most photogenic regions in the South West of England. This is one of our favourite workshops and during the 2½ days of photography we will visit a number of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks, including St Michael’s Mount, Poldark’s tin mines at Botallack Head and Godrevy Island.
We will also photograph Land’s End amazing coastline and visit Porth Nanvan – one of the most photogenic beaches in England. During late winter, the light can be stunning and the weather dramatic. The days are still long enough to visit several locations each day, yet short enough to ensure we’re back at the hotel after sunset in time to eat, relax and share a drink or two…
Participants will be staying at the fantastic and newly refurbished Mount Haven Hotel in Marazion for 2 nights. The hotel is widely known for the quality of its food. It has been awarded two AA Rosettes and was named one of the 9 Best Secret Hotels in the WORLD! The Mount Haven, overlooking St Michael’s Mount, is the perfect location to be based while photographing the area. 3 course evening meal (Sunday & Monday) and breakfast and packed lunch (Monday & Tuesday) are also included in the cost.
Group size is strictly restricted to 10 people, so a large amount of individual attention is guaranteed on our workshops.
