Adrian Beasley

Adrian Beasley

Adrian studied photography in the 90’s and quickly became fascinated by Black & White developing and printing, setting up an extensive home darkroom. In 2000, he embraced a digital workflow, selling all his darkroom equipment in exchange for Photoshop and a large format printer and scanner. He acquired his first digital camera in 2001 and in 2002 started teaching City and Guilds evening classes in photography. Within a few years he progressed to leading workshops in Photoshop and then Lightroom. All the while, Adrian had a very successful career in product development but that all changed in 2016 when one of his images was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. After selling the whole edition, Adrian decided to leave his ‘day job’ to focus on photography full-time. Initially, Adrian expanded his workshops in post processing and printing. More recently he has returned to his passion of Black and White photography and printing, creating new workshops specialising in Black and White techniques.

Adrian has achieved success in national photographic competitions, exhibited and sold limited edition prints. Adrian is one of the UK’s few Adobe Certified Expert’s (ACE)
