Clea Beasley
Books have been an essential element of Clea’s life for as long as she can remember. Her parents were antiquarian bookdealers, and much of her childhood was spent in the bookshop that was also her family home.
Clea has been an educator for over 25 years, working initially in primary education where she loved the process of teaching children to create books of their own, which they were always thrilled to take home and share. In 2021 Clea took the opportunity for a change in direction, starting to work alongside her husband (and fellow D2D tutor) Adrian Beasley. Together, they provide all the skills and experience required to capture, edit, print, and create bespoke photo books. Clea's skill with book design and construction - together with her ability to manage mixed ability groups - makes her a valuable addition to the D2D team. Together, Clea and Adrian have already successfully led over 30 photo book-making workshops since 2021, including collaborations with Rachael Talibart and Paul Sanders.
