The Yorkshire Dales is world-renowned for its stunning pastoral scenery, picturesque waterfalls, dry-stone walls and prolific number of photogenic barns. This is Dawn 2 Dusk Photography's first foray to the Dales and we couldn't wish for a better guide than leading professional landscape photographer, Mark Banks. Mark lives close by and boasts an intimate knowledge of the Dales having photographed this area countless times over the years.
During this three day workshop, we will visit a number of iconic landmarks such as Cauldron Falls in Wensleydale, the Ribblehead Viaduct, the limestone pavements in Ribblesdale, and the quintessentially English barns in upper Swaledale. In order to minimise travel time, we will be based in the heart of Wensleydale not far from the famous Aysgarth waterfalls (famously featured during the fight scene in the film 'Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves').
We will be staying in The Wheatsheaf Inn in Wensleydale, which is perfectly located for exploring the area. The Inn is well known for its charm, great food, good service and warm hospitality. Included in the cost of the workshop is 2-nights accomodation (sole occupancy in either a single, twin, or double room), evening meal (Sunday and Monday) and breakfast and packed lunch (Monday and Tuesday).
Although a vastly experienced tutor, this is Mark's first workshop with Dawn 2 Dusk Photography. Both Mark Bauer and Ross Hoddinott will be joining him as tutors on this workshop. With a group size of just 10 people, but with 3 tutors, plenty of individual attention is guarenteed. We hope you can join us...
